When I hit "Open Stream" and paste the URL of the stream I want to play, iTunes refuses to react. SOS?

Two question:
- Does stream worked at that moment (i mean moment when you added it)
- What extension of stream file you have (*.m3u for example)
Are you sure that the URL points directly to the stream and that it's a stream that's compatible with iTunes? If you can post the URL here, perhaps someone will be able to check it out and offer suggestions.

Akex, the stream url is http://www.patmetheny.com/live365/index2.html and the stream plays OK in my browser, from that url. I don't know how to find out the extension. Thanks,

ok, it's just a static html page with flash plugin which open stream (link hidden), in itunes you can subscribe to podcast or try to find that radio in radio-list in iTunes
