I purchased a Canon MX892 printer and the problem I'm having is that my iPhone and iPad see the printer and print to it fine....But then they don't find it! saying no AirPrint printers found! any help would be appreciated...thanks

Check to see if there is a firmware update available for your printer. (Some AirPrint capable printers require a firmware update to enable this functionality.)
Hi...I did update the firmware, but the same thing happened. its works fine , then it doesn't! I do have a PC and a Mac running off the same wireless router...would that cause any issues?
No, that shouldn't make any difference. I have a pc and mac on the same wi-fi too and my airprint printer works fine. There are some troubleshooting steps here that may help: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/airprint/.
I've tried that link! i've been at this all day and nothing seems to work. The reason I asked about the PC and Mac on the same network is that before I got this Mac (2 weeks ago) i had a desktop(XP) and a laptop (win7) and every once in a while I couldn't share files betwen them and sometimes I could....kinda the same as with this problem...maybe the router is old Dlink DI624...just can't figure out why it works then it stops.
Maybe there's a firmware update for your router.

Just as I thought...the DI624 was phased out in 2007 and support stopped in 2010! Maybe time for an upgrade!!

You're welcome. You're router may well be the problem. I believe it needs to support Bonjour (among other things). It may be too old at this point.
