60gb iPod reset - everything erased.... is that right?
ON a road trip with the family - had all music from everyone on the IPOD.
It hung - didn't have the manuals with us so we were trying to figure out the 'reset' - we did - kinda.
pressed 'menu' and the center selector button. iPod made some noises for a bit - and presto - back to factory settings - everything was gone from the iPod.
Of course this was in hour 2 of our 2 week family trip!
is this combo of button pressing supposed to completely remove all songs/pics/movies/etc? Is this right?
I was looking for a 'reboot' function, not a function to wipe the ipod out - is there a 'reboot' function?
