use bluetooth headset with language learning program?

I just bought rosetta stone language learning program which requires voice audio input via analog/usb.

I have a bluetooth headset for my cell phone (planotronic 510). I talked to the language learning company and they said I could use a bluetooth device.

How do I proceed from here... first find out if this headset will work and second how do I set up bluetooth/headset?

Thanks for any help on this.

Go to Bluetooth in System Preferences and choose to pair a new device. When the Bluetooth Setup Assistant starts it will ask what type of device you would like to set up. Choose Headset. The assistant will set up yourhead set and creat sound input and output channels for that device. From there you either set up your software to stream to your headset, or go to Sound in System Preferences to set input and output through the headset. Just rmember to switch Sound preferences back after if you do it the second way. That way iTunes and other programs that use shound won't try to play through your bluetooth headset.
