Netgear WN3000RP Range Extender

Hi

I am running my wifi from BT Infinity Homehub. However, signal is weak upstairs, so purchased above to extend the range. However, even though the home hub has a WPS button, cant seem to connect using the standard set-up instructions. There are alternative browser based instructions for routers without a WPS button, but this seems to be using a set-up wizard that only runs on PCs. Any dieas out there?

In most cases Extenders are not very happy to extend a non-same-manufacturer-wifi router. If your BT hub has a built-in WiFi router, buy a simple Netgear WNR1000 WiFi router (about 20-25€ Amazon) and place it next to the BT hub, you do not have to do any settings (except the WPA password), the net is called NETGEAR by default, reset the Extender to factory settings and it will work.
