This morning that was the message I got when I tried to watch a video on YouTube on my Ipad2 with Safari.

The thing is not five minutes before I was watching the same video on Safari and then it stopped.

What's going on?

Hello! Check my previous post, please!

There is no question, about how iOS users can watch youtube files, the question is that videos were playable on the iPad. Now it's not. Moreover it's doesn't matter what software to use. It's just return --->

I have tried different browsers without any success (Safari, Opera, even google chrome for iOS)

I've tried several. The only semi decent one was the one included in iOS. Not anymore.

This thing about Apple not giving options it's getting out of control.

YouTube is the principal web video content provider.

The thing is Apple just cripples the experience. But they don't give alternatives. Nor allow people to offer them. Just cut it; customers don't worth even an explanation.

It's YouTube. Anytime somebody monetized their video(s).

It stops anybody with a tablet or iPhone, iPad... From watching the video(s).

It doesn't matter if you are using the app, if your in desktop mode, mobile mode... Nothing. It doesn't matter.

YouTube states its the uploaders option whither they want the mobile crowd to watch their videos or not, but really the uploader just wants the video to be monetized, and this just happens to be the unfortunate repercussion of their choice. It is terrible YouTube did their users like that. They shouldn't of even made that an option to exclude the mobile crowd by monetizing. All you can do is blog about it and inform as many people as you can. Maybe people will boycott and there will be a change. But really, I don't see that ever happening.

Maybe apple will install an update that doesn't allow tablets or phones to be recognized by YouTube as a tablet or phone... Whatever. I'm upset at all this. YouTube is the primary video website of the world. There really should be no problem.

But apple and google are the ones with beef toward each other... No wonder they would try and cause issues.

Lol. Thank. No I didn't notice. But what I have stated stands firm as of 8/2013.

Notice as in my third line down I had stated that using the app is useless. Among the other "fixes" people have suggested. Until YouTube stops forcing the option to "choose" whither or not those on iPad or iPhones can watch a video after its been monetized, I don't believe there will be a fix. (I think droid and other tablets are having the same problem from what I read online).

Unless apple does some skirting of the YouTube process and bypasses their system by making the YouTube site read that we are all desktop... Or something like that. I'm not a tech head. Although I wish I were.
