How do I changet my name in the iCloud that is listed in the System Preferences?

Do you mean log out and back in? If so then I tried that and it still has my name wrong in the Account Detail for iCloud in System Preferences.

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and see whether your name is correctly entered there.

I went ahead and called the Apple Support and got it corrected.
