One trick that usually works is to use the edge of a credit card to smooth the protector out as you are applying it.

Of course, a better idea would be to follow lllaass's suggestion. I Googled "screen protector without bubbles" and found one fairly stupid YouTube video and one fairly good one straight away. It was easy to differentiate between the two. However, if you say you've tried that route, "but they don't seem to work", then frankly there's little hope of our advice being any good to you, since watching how it's done is the most likely way to get your question answered.

By the way, posting a further three times, asking for a response, within fifteen minutes is actually quite rude. It's not a question of you saying please, this is a world wide forum. But haven't you and I been through this before though?

Oh! Yes we have.

After your impatient post on the 29th July, I pointed out to you that you, and anyone who feels sufficiently confident to answer you, may be on opposite sides of the world. Your response to my comment at that time suggested that you had listened to what I had said. Tonight however, demonstrates quite clearly that you don't listen to what is said to you.

Perhaps that's why you are unable to put the screen protector on neatly. Or maybe I was right the first time, you're simply unrealistic!

Then stop giving the English a bad name! Just because someone else is bad mannered, doesn't excuse you, nor does your age!

By the way, section 3.1 of Apple's Use Agreement for this community read as follows:

Minors

You must be at least 13 years old to post to the Site. If you are over 13 years old but have not yet reached the age of majority, you must have your parent or guardian's permissions to post to the Site.

Whoa, do you live in England? That explains why you are so keen on manners! I am only eleven years old, my mum lets me use her account to ask questions. Guess what? I'm an englishman, too!

That attitude will take you far in the real world. Please read the Terms of Use for the forum:

Apology accepted.

I hope that she has now learnt from this experience and that perhaps she has now managed to put the screen protector on to her satisfaction, maybe by following one of the more helpful videos on YouTube. I trust also, that she understands that Philly_Phan's "attitude" comment (below) is meant to be ironic?

Please note the age restriction for this site. I'm not trying to discourage you, but if you are going to allow the rule bending, perhaps you need to monitor your daughter's posts a bit more closely.

Thank you, but what I also noticed is that some of you were a bit harsh with her. She is an impatient young girl, she is was having a hard time at school, she was impatient becuase of all the tests she is having to have. She is in a state of mood right now. And she is quite offended that someone reported her, becuase it is my account that she is using, and I got quite cross with her. So she is rather upset.

Anyway, I am sorry for her "attitude".

I have to agree with Philly_Phan.

If you're my age, you know perfectly well that here in the UK we were brought up to be polite to our elders. The fact that modern children haven't been taught this is no reason for us here to put up with it. As has been pointed out, the minimum age for using this site (regardless of your permission to her) is 13. Perhaps this is why.

As for our harshness; if you follow these forums for a while, you will realise that unfortunately, more than a few posters here deliberately "try it on", or come here "with attitude". Some even post here simply to make it known that they didn't like Apple even before they bought their iPod! My personal opinion (which I sure will have many detractors) is that such people have to learn that their behaviour isn't acceptable, nor we will simply "put up with their nonsense".

Putting up with unacceptable behaviour (aka "political correctness") is what causes standards to fall and makes society a ghastly place.

If you recall (see above) I had mentioned previously to your daughter about repeat posting, but despite acknowledging my comments, she completely ignored me.

Your daughter can either accept our standrads and be a member of this community (despite her age) or she can fight.
