MacBook Pro Retina won't install windows 7 64bit

Hi guys, i'm tryng to install windows 7 64bit but no success till now. I'm using an updated version ( service pack 1 integrated) when windows loads i can't install it on the bootcamp partition because it says"windows needs an ntfs partition to install" . Then i cancel that partition, create one new ntfs one, and try to install.... then windows tells me "Impossible to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. For further information, look at the program's registry files"

It seems to be an error caused by a defective driver of the controller of the hard disk.... so the controller of the ssd. Or is it something else? how can i install windows via bootcamp on the new macbook pro with retina display?

I have a new iMac, which doesn't have an optical drive. I made an .iso file from my Windows 7 Pro installation disc. I followed the instructions and used Boot Camp Assistant to create the boot disc and put the drivers on a 16 GB USB flash drive. I put in my password to allow the Helper, and made the partition 250 GB. After going through the process, my Mac rebooted into Windows, and I was instructed to choose the version of Windows I was installing. I chose the BOOTCAMP partition, went to Advanced, and selected Format. When it was done, I got a similar message to DruidoBlanco, "Setup was unable to create a new partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information." Since I don't have a CD/DVD drive, and the USB stick is the boot drive, I can't eject it. Any suggestions?

I went thought the same issues at first and battled it for 3 days with over 12 hours per day wasted.

Many others have suffered similar errors as well.

The only sure way I know to make it happen is the way that I posted, but you need the optical drive. I don't know how to fix the issue any other way and I don't think its possible without apple releasing a fix to the Boot Camp Assistant.

After doing what I posted my Win 7 partition is working just like if it was on a regular PC. The Boot Camp drivers work seamlessly. I have used it for 76 hrs straight with no issues. You will have the usual windows problems but it's windows so what can I say.

It's worth it since you will not have the issues that are seen in parallels since this is a native environment.

I've used Boot Camp several times, and it has always worked great. It's also always been a pain to get going. Last time, when I wasn't aware that the Boot Camp partition wouldn't be backed up when I Migrated to my previous iMac (Late 2009 [1]), I had to start from scratch. It let me install Windows XP, and I upgraded to Windows 7. Then my Seagate drive was one Apple swapped out a few years ago. The new drive, however, made it a Late 2009 [2], and I couldn't install XP anymore. So I had to find an installation (not upgrade) disc for Windows 7. Once that got resolved, everything worked great. This time, I thought I'd be smart and bought Winclone, made an image, followed the instructions, but when I tried to boot, it would just crash and restart. So now I'm trying to start from scratch again.

I don't know about that one either. We were referring to Mac Book Pro Retina.

However, the same procedure should work since Apple has not provided a Boot Camp Assistant fix for any late model computers. This was also used with Yosemite OS and with all updates installed.

It should work for you also. The permission issues affect all models. Specially for those who get the error trying to partition the drives. I know Apple claims that OS X does not need to be defraged but of this to work it must be. Win 7 will only install if there is a continuous unfragmented amount of free space.
