HP laserjet m1005 Driver not visible

I have updated all the HP Driver Softwares available through the ASU but I didnt see the driver of HP LaseJet M1005 MFP even though its listed in the supported printer's list.

I even downloaded the available driver from the HP website but still was unable to use the printer.

What use is a laptop if it can't even print documents.!!!

Please help!!

I found the following at HP Support on the web:

Products with HP driver for OS X 10.7 only at www.hp.com:

Some supported products do NOT have an update available through Apple Software Update (ASU). These models are only supported with a .dmg driver download available from www.hp.com. If you have one of the following products, go to www.hp.com/go/support to obtain the full feature Lion download.

  • HP Color LaserJet CM1015/CM1017 Multifunction Printer series
  • HP Color LaserJet CM1312 Multifunction Printer series
  • HP Color LaserJet CM2320 Multifunction Printer series
  • HP LaserJet Pro CP1020/CP1025 Printer series
  • HP LaserJet Pro M1005 Multifunction Printer series
  • HP LaserJet Pro M1130, M1132, M1134, and M1136 Multifunction Printer series

  • HP LaserJet P1100 and P1102 Printer series

Just follow the directions above to enable printing with your printer.

Hope this helps 🙂
