Epson stylus photo 790 Utilities with ink management not activ

I can print with my Stylus photo 790 but cannot see the ink quantity and cannot clean the printer. I have a new mac Intel 10.4.4

Mac OS 10.4 Intel, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

See "How to access third-party ink jet printer utilities (Mac OS X)."

Note that if the printer is being shared as a base station printer connected to an AirPort base station, the printer must be connected to a computer to use those printer utilities. See "Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Sharing your USB printer via an AirPort Extreme or AirPort Express Base Station."

Thank you for your reply. I followed the instructions and I have launched the file epson utilitaire 2 version 3.0 but nothing happens
It is a USB printer epson photo Stylus 790
This file is perhaps not compatible with my printer ? Epson does not answer not per mail either per tel (incompetent person)

You might want to check the Epson Web site for additional assistance or to see if there is an update to that program.
