iTunes song download incomplete - how to solve situation?

Hi all,

I purchase and downloaded a lot of songs from iTunes onto my PC, and then transferred onto my iPad.

Later found out that some songs had not fully downloaded e.g. I get 3 minutes of a 6 minutes song. The purchased section in iTunes says I have downloaded everything (and doesnt seem to let me download again, at least not on the PC).

How do I get the songs correctly downloaded without having to purchase them again, and having done so, how to ensure I synch correctly from the PC to the iPad again such that the complete versions overwrite the incomplete ones (and not vice versa!).

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

You should then just be able to re-sync and iTunes should recognise that you have updated versions of them - or just delete them from the iPad first by swiping across their names in the Music app and then sync the new versions.
