How does update my modem firmware
My ipad 2 has modem firmware 4.12.01 how can I update this to latest one

By installing the latest version of iOS which is 5.1.1.

I have my old I pad 1 it has IOS 5.1. and frimware 7.11, but I did install latest version to my new Ipad 2 using iTunes but it has firmware 4.12.1 IOS 5.1
Your iPad 2 is a different model. It doesn't have the same firmware as an iPad 1 nor an iPad 3.

When I buy this new I pad WIFI work, but After I update the IOS now WIFI only searching. I thought that is from firmware. My router use more I pads and I phones but My new I pad 2 can not connect,
