I can see you have good knowledge about all this.
I have some similar questions if thats alright ?
I did what you told Buko1 here about the user/home folder.
But i can see my main library also have a lot of different info's like
user (me)
system
wheel
everyone
Is that right ? I did mess around with all this because i clone one iMac to another and the disc was bad
so i had to install the fresh new HD that was in the new iMac and then i used the Migration Assistant app
to clone/copy everything over from the backup disc i had from the old iMac.
It did work, kind of. Most of my applications are working but i do think some funny things happen sometimes.
Like i have many new system.log errors ? So i was wondering if that user/info thing could mess up things like that in my main library ?

It come all the time in my system.log and i cant figure out what or why. But if i remember right. It was not on my old iMac.
