I cannot see everything on my homework website

I am a brand new macbook pro owner of 3 days. So far I love it, and I'm continuing to learn. I bought the pro mainly for school. I can log into my math class website, but it will not show everything on the website. Everything shows up on my old laptop. I can log in, however, I cannot view everything under the different tabs. Somethings I can see, and some I can't. I am mostly concerned about not being able to see my homework videos. i have already downloaded adobe flashplayer, but that has not helped. This is what happens for example: when I click on the homework tab it says "You don't have a subscription to this site. Please make sure that the siteid or abbrev is correct." Is it the website, or my pro? I don't understand how I can log in and see some things for my math class, and not others. Please help...I want this pro to work out so bad!!

That sounds like there was some special one-time setup to connect with the site that was done on your old laptop that has not been done on the new MBP. You should ask whoever supplies technical support for your school or the site whether there is a special proedure for changing computers in the middle of a class.

For the record, was your old laptop also a MacBook?

What web browser are you using.

If the web browser you are using is Safari make sure you have the most recent version by clicking the apple on the top left and software update.

Now that you have everything updated open up safari. From there open up system preferences by

pressing command comma [Command ,]. From there go to the advanced tab and click show develop

menu in menu bar.

Now you will notice a develop menu tab on the top part of your screen. Click develop then user agent

and change it to something else. Try Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc...

Hope this helps you out.
