Sep 4, 2012 9:36 AM in response to Maneeshhby King_Penguin,Have you tried closing the App Store app via the taskbar and seeing if it displays properly when you re-open the app ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the App Store app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Sep 4, 2012 9:42 AM in response to Maneeshhby Texas Mac Man,The Complete Guide to Using the iTunes Store

Can't connect to the iTunes Store

iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

Sep 4, 2012 10:37 AM in response to King_Penguinby Maneeshh,Thanks King_Penguin & Texas Mac Man for being so prompt to help.
I tried both the options suggested and here is what i got :
1) I tried closing App Store exactly as suggested by King_Penguin. Unfortunately it dint work
2) I tried setting the Date & Time ahead by a year, a decade etc. This lead to the message "A secure connection could not be established. Please check your Date & Time settings" when App Store options are tapped. But finally no resolution still
Still trying

Go to settings: iTunes store, log off.
Create a new account, select a different country and tap next. Then exit and confirm.
Open AppStore and every tab will reload and should work!
Login with you apple id and the store will re load and everything will be fixed!

Sep 29, 2012 7:40 AM in response to iSymonby Maneeshh,Hey ISymon, Thanks a ton, it worked man.
Somehow i didnt take my pad to the apple service centre, though they were eager to help and kept trying to make app store work with other wifi networks, and interestingly it was working with other wifi networks.
So i was about to subscribe a connection with more speed, and then I saw your post
I did exactly as what you instructed, and it worked (even with the same country). Now i can see all my app store things in place and am able to updated/purchase apps as well.
Thanks a lot again for the help.
Cheers,
maneesh

Sep 30, 2012 7:13 PM in response to Maneeshhby cjmedina,IOS 6 WIFI FIX FOR NOW!!!!!
The only quick fix for now is to reset your Network
Setting/General/Reset/Reset Nettwork Settings
Make sure you copy your password somewhere. I did so on Notes so that i could copy and paste.
This will work for a while but the problem keeps coming back in a day or so but at least its a quick fix.
I have the problem on both my Iphone and Ipad 3 with IOS 6
The only other permanent fix is to go back to IOS 5 which I had back when I tried IOS 6 bata and had the same problem which I thought Applw would have Fixed.
Apple better get there act together or Android is going to Kick there *** SOON!

Oct 1, 2012 12:26 AM in response to cjmedinaby Maneeshh,Rightly said Medina.
The problem has resurfaced and is quite frustrating.
I will try reseting the network now as suggested by you.
For sure it seems to be a major issue and quite weird.
Cheers,

Oct 2, 2012 8:41 AM in response to Maneeshhby daznich,I have the same problem. Tried changing the system dates, resetting the network settings, logging off iTunes + creating a new account. Nothing works. Still, on the bright side, I'm saving some cash not being able to purchase apps. Can't beleive Apple messed up with something that fundamentally affects their revenue stream.

Oct 8, 2012 9:56 PM in response to Maneeshhby Dexter7,All iTunes apps; i.e., iTunes, iTunes U, Apps, iBooks, Newsstand, will not display Feature, Charts, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Audiobooks on my iPad 3. I can only search and view purchased items. This began three days ago. I downloaded IOS 6 over a week ago.
I tried setting the time ahead to more than 1 year. I reset all the settings. I logged into iTunes with a different ID. Nothing worked. I made all The changes stated above and nothing worked. Each day, I changed the the date to at least a year in the future and it finally and only worked today.
