RuneScape on iPad?

Does anyone know how to play RuneScape on an iPad?

For your informtion RuneScape is a browser based Java game.

They very recently announced they are converting to HTML5 and coming to tablets, which is actually what prompted me to buy my iPad today.

But until then I would like to know if there is a way to play this game using my iPad.

I have already achieved this using some mirror software with my Mac but this is extremely slow not to mention the inconvenience of needing my Mac to be running.

Java is not supported on any ios devices.

It is also a giant security hole nd should be disabled or uninstalled on all computers.

Have you searched the App Store to see if there is an app version of the game?

In my opinion this should have been released by now, I didn't realize the Ipad was more like a big phone then a computer, disappointed and unable to find any playable games of my liking I've sided with some of these free apps, until there's an efficient way play runescape and these types of games, I don't see any point on wasting any more money on things I don't need, the year is 2013 and I know about angry consumers who were almost fans, so what's the hold? Sign us up we want to be members, give us games worth playing and worth paying.
