Cannot italicize text in Mountain Lion version of Pages
The italicize funcion is grayed out for all fonts. Why?

Italics will only be enabled, not greyed out, for those fonts that include it. Pages is among many newer applications that won't "fake" italics. Use Font Book or the fonts panel to find a font that has italics.
