Won't start up; charger blinking orange

All I can say is, thank you! My computer went flatline in the middle of work and this brought it back.

I plugged in a portable charger into my friends Mac Book Pro and it suddenly died, the charger was blinking as well.

I've tried all the tips here almost 4times and the computer can't turn on. Please help! Seeing that it's not my laptop!

I just had this happen today -- the abrupt powering down of my early 2013 Macbook Pro 13". I tried dbartul's tip and it worked like a charm. Luckily I had a jeweler's screwdriver that BARELY was small enough to take out the 10 screws.

I bought an iPhone 5S today and I'm wondering if there was an unreasonable power draw from it while I was configuring it through my iTunes.

Absoutely brilliant. I was so frustrated especially since I went into apple and talked with a member of the genius bar and he told me to buy a brand new charger -which at this point I was so desperate to get my computer up and running again that I reluctantly handed over the $93 dollars- and when I got home the same thing happened! Thank you so much dbartul, easy enough instructions and it worked like a charm. Now the unfortunate apple-not-so-genuis is gonna get a mouthful tommorow when I return the useless charger.

dbartul... your amazing. I had an idea it was the battery but had no clue what to do. With a pc you just take it off and put it back and everything resets, howvever I was stumped with my mac. Just followed you instructions and Voila my mac came straight on.

Hi I got a properly with my Mac Pro is keeps flashing green and orange when I put on charger and it won't turn on is there anything I can do its 2012 model

I have gave exactly the same problem! My mbp mid 2013 won't turn on at all and whenever I charge it, the charging light it faint green blinking to somewhat yellowish light. It happened when it closed my mbp while I was charging my iPhone 5c in one of its port. Then when I opened my mbp it didn't turn on and the charging light turned to faint green from a bright green. Help

Woah I did what you guys said. While doing it I was confused where the adaptor is situated because I own a MBP mid 2012.. But the video help me get through! Thanks I a lot, my MBP now works perfectly!
