Right click the Sequence icon in the Browser and select Item Properties.
Post a screen shot or relay all the info.
Do the same for a clip in the Browser.

What are the clip properties?
Are you working with HDV or a small version of AVCHD clips?

Everything as regards frame size, frame rate looks ok.
There are two types of 1440 x 1080i60 Easy Setups.
One for AVCHD and the other is for HDV.
Can you double check your current Easy Setup is for AVCHD?

I feel that I alsoshould mention that these interlace lines do not appear in the viewer or canvas. The "ghost trail" looking ones do appearin the Log and Capture viewer, but ones imported, it looks fine. It's when I export that everything goes ugly.
Use the AVCHD Easy Setup and start a Project or Sequence.
Import a clip of the same size to the Browser and edit to the Timeline.
Export as QuickTime Movie.
The above is to test the settings.
It looks like you do have AVCHD clips in an HDV Timeline currently.

Everything is done correctly and I belive it"s the way computers display interlaced footage.
FCE is designed to work with interlaced and it looks reasonable there, outside of FCE in the Quicktime player it shows the interlacing.
De-Interlacing is the answer for computer display and delivery.
Leaving it as is for interlaced TV or DVD delivery.
1440 x 1080i in my experience shows this effect at it's worst. It has to juggle rectangular pixels to square to get it displaying correctly. Make a DVD for example and played back on a TV it usually looks fine.
Your camera shoots 1920 x 1080i and I'd suggest you do some test shooting and editing at that size.

I just hate that it ruins all my videos for youtube. So is there basically no fix for this then?
