My Podcast Just Became Searchable But The Cover Art Is Not Showing

Hi,

My podcast just became searchable in the itunes store. I knew it took a few days but the cover art is not showing yet.

Is this a process that just takes more time as well? When I subscribe to it the artwork shows up but it's not showing up in the store..

thoughts?

Not many I'm afraid. You could try emailing them at podcasts 'at' apple.com, but I can't promise that you will get any sort of sensible answer.

Hi Greg,

I am having the same thing happen to me with my podcast. The artwork isn't appearing in iTunes searches and just has the grey "podcast logo" default image instead. I've checked my feeds, and they all have proper formatting and artwork enclosures.

Noticed you show appears properly now in search and in iTunes itself. Wondering if it just popped up one day, or if you did something in particular to fix.

When I updated the image file to 1400x1400 it worked in a day or two.

Apple updated their image size requirements so the prior size wasn't working.

That's all I changed before it started working.

Thanks Greg, for the quick response. I'll bet that's exactly what it was, since I was using a 600x600 image before. Just changed both Feedburner and my PowerPress plugin settings to point to the new 1400x1400 file. Will see if that does the trick.
