Where is the firewire port on my iMac? All I see are 4 USB ports.
I can't find the firewire port on the back of my iMAC intel? All I see are 4 USB ports and a ethernet port. Can I get a visual of where it should be? If there is one?
Thanks KEITH

Intel iMacs have been out of 6 years, it would be helpful if we knew which iMac you own. You can also look in the specifications in your owners manual or you can click Support in the upper right of this page and then choose Tech Specs.
If your machine has been made within the past 5 years it has a Firewire 800 port. If you have a FW 400 device you simply need a cable that goes from FW800 to FW400 which can be purchased from Amazon, Radio Shack or even your local computer store.
According to the specs your iMac has a firewire connector. It is FW800 and not FW400 so the shape of connector is different.
