USB ethernet stopped working on 10.7.4.
After I upgraded to 10.7.4, the usb ethernet stopped working. When I plugin the usb ethernet port, it still shows "Cable Unplugged". Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try running software updates with the adapter plugged in
I tried but it said my software was up-to-date.
When I click on "About this Mac" --> "System Report" ---> "USB", there is no "usb ethernet" adapeter
in there.
It worked fine before, only stopped working after I upgraded to 10.7.4.
Try resetting your SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 and your PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379 Let me know if that works/helps 🙂
It turned out that the problem was my usb ethernet port. I borrowed another usb ethernet port and it worked
fine.
The strange thing is that this thing stopped working after I upgraded to 10.7.4. It was only a little more
than a year old.
