I have recently bought a Macbook Pro having previously been familiar with Windows. Where can I locate the equilalent of 'My Computer' on my 'Mac'?
With Windows if I connect my camera via a usb port for example this shows up on my screen and in My Computer!

For anyone still experiencing this issue it would be easiest to simply click the desktop, select the "Go" tab on status bar then click "Computer".

Finder is more or less the equivalent of My Computer.
Along the side there will be "all my files" "desktop" etc and one option should be your camera.
