These methods work for the iPhone 4S but not the iPhone 5.

APPLE - please fix this! We have hundreds of iPhones that we will be supporting in an enterprise environment and need access to the iPhone Configuration Utility and iTunes 10.7.

That's what I was afraid.

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait on Apple for a fix for the iPhone 5 since it requires the new version of MobileDevice.dll, which isn't compatible with ICU.

If you have an Enterprise contract with Apple you could get your IT department to bug them. That or buy a Mac.

For manual download the site still hosts version 3.5 even though page says version 3.6, but Apple Software Update works properly.

I am dubious about the version number of the download link.

When I open that page it says iphone configuration utility 3.5, when I check the details of the exe file it says "Product Version 3.5.0.289" and it has the same file size (40.5MB) as the 3.5 version.

I found this link that takes you to a page saying 3.6:

But when I download it, it still says 3.5 in the details of the exe file.

When I click the Download link on that page, I get an exe file that tells me it's version 3.6.0.295.

I downloaded the same file from another rcomputer and now it says it is version 3.6.

Maybe the proxy server at work is caching the old file because it has the same name.

I figured out what the issue was earlier. I had the iphone config in weeks prior I need the config to test the Iphone profiles. Until they work it out and send a patch I did a system restore to an earlier point.

Yep, version 3.6 fixes the problem. I used the Apple Software Update to grab it.

Make sure to delete the mobiledevice.dll from the iPhone Configuration Utility folder if you used my work around prior to installing version 3.6 (or after, it shouldn't matter).

The new version of the utility seems to work.

I have uninstalled everything, which means all apple software, cleared program data, appdata local and roaming, re-installed itunes 10.7 and iCPU 3.6, everything is cool now.

Then I copied back stuff from appdata to get back my devices and profiles.

The new iPCU works with iTunes 10.7 and the iPhone 5!!

Strange that the download page for iPCU still lists v3.5 but is really 3.6

Very glad Apple fixed this so quickly.

Seems like Apple forgot it's Enterprise users and IPCU 3.6 and iTunes 10.7 still don't work.

IPCU wont launch, but will do in Local profile, ***** dosnt help as you cant load your cert.

What error message do you get when launching iPCU? Are you certain you have version 3.6 installed? Many people have reported that installing 3.6 has eliminated the problems they were having with iPCu 3.5 after installing iTunes 10.7.

HI Todd, no error message, it just dosn't launch, However it is allowing to launch in local profile mode. weird!
