Please any HELP
Yes, I also get this error: -1100 on the App Store.app.
This happened for the first time yesterday. A few hours after the iPhone 5 introduction.
Perhaps it is related to something into the App Store itself?
I have a Retina Macbook, and I'm getting the exact same error.
me too!! MacBook Retina, the same error.
I have a MacBook pro 13" core 2 duo. I also have the same issue, I only noticed it today.
Earlier on I noticed a reference to App Store being swamped with attempts to download because of major changes in iTunes. I cannot be sure it applies to you ... but that's what I noticed (in the Intel column, I believe).
It appears the servers are overloaded. Try again later.
Same here. MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion.
"Softwareupdates" worked just fine yesterday morning and I'm getting the errorcode -1100 for about 9 hours now...
Can it really take that long for the whole world to download the new iTunes? 😉
Download iTunes 10.7 from here if you cant wait: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576.
I get the exact same error message since this morning (central european time). iMac 27" i7 OS X 10.8.1
downloading as suggested by b j t also doesn't work
The same NSURLErrorDomain -1100 problem.... in Santiago of Chile very early in the morning and all night long.
They say to me in another discussion that the problem is in the Apple servers.
Pablo.
Hey Apple, when do you fix that?
LOTS of people are receiving this error (including myself). It probably has nothing to do with your computer at all but the fact that Apple's servers probably weren't prepared for the massive numbers of attemped updates, specifically for the iTunes update. DNS fixes have been posted, but these don't work for me. Unfortunately, probably the best solution is either to wait or, if you're looking for the update to iTunes, go to: http://support.apple.com/downloads/ where you can find the latest software. After downloading the latest version of iTunes, mine was listed as being the latest version.
podcasts arent downloading for me either on itunes, Apple has to fix this soon, people cant just wait days to update or download their stuff
more so, this better not be an indicator for tomorrow morning iphone pre order server crash
Hopefully when the Apple techs come to work today they can fix it. The old way software update on Lion and earlier works fine. It's only with Mountain Lion and the App Store update that is broken. Doesn't matter which Apple product you own. It's probably not a server overload since it works fine with the old update method. Manual download doesn't work with Mountain Lion. You'll be prompted to update through the App Store. There was probably some code changed when they added the new iTunes. Someone wasn't paying attention when coding.
