How do I get apple startpage back as my default home page

Hi,


I own a macbook pro and i changed my homepage from www.apple.com/startpage to www.apple.com/uk/startpage because I thought it would take me to a British version of the page, clearly I was wrong and I was redirected to the Uk apple.com page.


Can I change my homepage back to the apple startpage?


I went into safari preferences and tried to reset it but it wouldn't work.


Please help!!!

Doublechecking what you tried in the preferences.


Try heading to the www.apple.com/startpage.


In the general preferences tab, in the "New Windows open with" drop-down menu, select "Homepage" as per the following screenshot:

Next, click the "Set to current page" button shown in the following screenshot:

Close the preferences. Quit and relaunch Safari. Are you opening to your desired homepage now?
