I have 2 eMac's, free today... They were both opersting on 10.4, I updated with my 10.5 disk, but now won't start back up (spinning circle...). Reseting PRAM didn't work, I tried disk utility to repair disk, said it was ok... I get kernel message when I try and boot from 10.4 disc, and another kernel message when I try and boot in safe mode... what else can I do??

OS X Tiger is available on Amazon and pricing isn't too bad.
Remember, the discs have to be black retail discs and not gray colored discs.

I have a friend that has a Panther disk, I could use tht one in the mean time...

I believe the emacs aren't booting is because the minimum required ram is 512mb mine did the same.
eMac won't start up (spinning circle...)
