iPhone 5 Pre-order delivery estimates slipped to two weeks in UK

I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 around 8:40am (UK) and my order confirmation email says "delivers on 21/9 in most areas", however, the Apple UK store is now saying (when you choose your model) that the dispatch time is 2 weeks.

I can't remember seeing this when I ordered so I hope I missed the jump in delivery time! I know my confirm email says 21/9 but does it say that for all orders, even those that now say "2 weeks" as you go through checkout?

Has anyone ordered recently and has seen the 'dispatched in two weeks' message and their email tells them something other than "delivers on 21/9 in most areas"?!

Even i ordered on 20th September and it was showing delivery date as 19th to 25th Oct but i was surprise to see that when i went on checking the delivery date on 23rd September it showed me delivery dates as18th to 24th October. I really don’t know what these guys are doing….. What do you say guys should I expect my delivery early anyhow? Or it will be on time or it will be worst and will come after estimated dates?????

I can only judge by my experience - and it delivers on the delivery date! I don't know whether it will deliver earlier or not!!! If you go into store you might get one... Again I don't know because I never go into the apple store (my nearest one is 60 miles away!!) so try it I you want, other wise be patient and know that whatever it will arrive!!
