iPhone 5 Pre-order delivery estimates slipped to two weeks in UK

Even i ordered on 20th September and it was showing delivery date as 19^th to 25^th Oct but i was surprise to see that when i went on checking the delivery date on 23^rd September it showed me delivery dates as18th to 24^th October. I really don’t know what these guys are doing….. What do you say guys should I expect my delivery early anyhow? Or it will be on time or it will be worst and will come after estimated dates?????

The way I would work it is worst case scenario! Tell yourself that its coming on the 25th - that way if it arrives earlier then its a huge bonus!!! But I don't think it ill come later than that!! So don't worry!

Well mine came right on the delivery date! But I have heard some cases of it being early... Your just lucky if you get it before, but they are incredibly good with their delivery times!

You said incredibly good with their delivery time!!!!! so you mean to say good to delivery on date or before????? and what if i go to store directly???? do they have stock in store???

I can only judge by my experience - and it delivers on the delivery date! I don't know whether it will deliver earlier or not!!! If you go into store you might get one... Again I don't know because I never go into the apple store (my nearest one is 60 miles away!!) so try it I you want, other wise be patient and know that whatever it will arrive!!

I pre-ordered as well on 14 of September and delivery dates are 2-8 of October.Today is 5 and my order didn't change from Processing to dispatched or whatever.What am I suppose to do?I think I'm gonna cancel it on 8 of October if I wont receive it.Can't wait for ages.

I really would be patient it will turn up, if you cancel it your be in for a longer wait, Shops like the CPWH and vodafone are taking orders and giving customers a wait up to 8 weeks. A friend works for the CPWH and he is give customers delivery dates at the end of November.

You don't want to wait longer than you have to.

I hope they aren't gonna push it till first week of November.I saw somewhere that they might do it..:-(

suprisingly my delivery dates changed to 15th to 19th Oct 2012. but untill today i have not received any update regarding my phone's delivery........ just dont know what to do????

Had the very same thing happen to, exactly same dates not heard anything from them just keep clicking on the order reference, when today's saw status had changed to preparing for dispatch. So Fingers crossed maybe tomorrow or worst case scenario Friday.
