Has anyone been looking around getting a feel for the new cases that will be available for the iPhone 5? There has to be some excellent cases that will be available right?

For me now that I've held the iPhone 5 in my hands, I think the bumper case is the way to go for a few weeks before you hide the phone beauty. That's on one end of the spectrum for not a lot of protections, but for those who want fort knox....gotta go otterbox.

I'm holding out for a LifeProof case. It's pretty much the only case that won't let dirt in between the case and the phone. I hear the back of the iPhone 5 is crazy easy to scratch. Plus the LifeProof is drop and water proof. I have one for my iPhone 4S and my iPad.

Those look pretty decent and are likely to be half the price of the LifeProof...even though I like the LPs (I DO like how they actually have a cover for the camera too)...I just dont see myself swimming wih my phone. I'd rather spend my hard earned $$ on the extra Lightning cable since it's been less than a week and I have already forgot mine at work once.

No they won't be. They only released the bumper to cover up signal issues.
Ok thanks. Does anyone know of any cases which will be similar to that case, as in be made of silicone but also have a cover for the back of the phone? Thanks
