I am trying to figure out how to create a chart based on table informtion in the Apple Pages program. Is this possible? Can someone expalin to me how this is done? Thanks!

No, in Pages, Charts have their own non-displayed tables. To make Charts from displayed Tables, use Numbers. You can Print the Numbers Sheet containing the Table and Chart to PDF and insert the PDF in your Pages document.

Jerrold, what do you mean by "non-displayed tables" in Pages. When I create a chart I use a table that is displayed. At least I can see it in Pages.

By "non-displayed" I mean that it's not a part of the document printout. It's only visible during editing.
That may not be the best way to explain it. Maybe you can help me with that.

So you mean if i create a table and the use it for creating a chart the table wont print??

Give it a try. In my experience, Pages Charts can only be made from a grid that disappears when the focus leaves the table when the edit is concluded.
