iPhone 5 Pre-Order Delivery Date

The UPS tracking info is Not available now...should I be concerned :o

I ordered my through the apple store app since the actual website was so backed up and had a smooth transaction/guartanteed release date delivery. This option might help some people next time.

Gaaaaa- I ordered in the first minute and I got an email saying delivery by 9/21 - just got tracking number from FedEX saying delivery estimated on 9/26! WHAT HAPPENED to 9/21!?!? Waaaa. So much for staying up all nite to pre-order!

Ordered mine from the apple store at around 3:30am NYC time and was worried since I hadn't gotten any other shipping emails regarding UPS/Fed Ex etc;

I literally just went on UPS site and punched in my phone number and voila! supposed to be here around 1030am on friday! 🙂 extremely happy about this

Why do you say 10:30 if I may ask?

1030 is only for businesses. residential areas get theirs end of day which is around 3 or 4pm.

here's what i saw...whether its10:30am or 4pm, I could care less. I'm just happy that I'm not going to be waiting another 2-3 weeks.

well **** 10:30am is better than 4pm haha, but i agree as long as i get mine friday ill be one happy camper.

Congrats! Just got my notification from Apple that mine has shipped as well. UPS now shows an import scan in KY. I hope I can figure out what flight it's on, because its so much fun to track it live.

My UPS guy typically shows up at my office around 11am, and there are 3 of us waiting for our new phones.

I'm so disturbed by this UPS thing. On the order page where you decide if you want it delivered, there was no indication of who would be doing the shipping this time (I looked, because I'm paranoid about this as it is). In my experience of ordering with Apple, they use FedEx or another carrier who delivers very early in the day, even to residential addresses.

My home UPS delivery is very reliable, but it reliably comes between 6:30PM-9PM, when I'm at work. I have to plan my orders so that they arrive on my day off if I want to ever get them. If I'm to trust my tracking info, this delivery is not being given any special early delivery handling.

If I had even the slightest reason to worry that the phone wouldn't be given early morning delivery as usual, I would have been happy to wait at a store at 6AM or whatever, I just like to be given all the facts when I make pre-order decisions. Looks like I'll be spending any future release days on a sidewalk.

Woohoo! Just got a UPS delivery update stating that I will have mine delivered by 10:30 am tomorrow morning! Yesss!

Just a suggestion.. Why don't you pre-sign for the delivery? Then you don't have to worry what time it arrives.
