iPhone 5 Pre-Order Delivery Date

hi mine has changed to shipped today i am in the uk and it says delivers on the 21st with ups

I'd ordered in the UK online apple store about 0840hrs on the Friday 14th. When my order confirmation came through it said 2-3 weeks and had done since via order tracker. I was bummed. But just this afternoon the online order tracker changed to delivers on 21/9!! Was going to queue but no need now 😀

Just for those hoping of a change from 2-3 weeks to earlier - it IS possible!!!

Anybody have an opinion about whether we should update our curent iPhone to iOS 6 before the final backup which we will use to restore to our new iPhones?

Does anybody with tracking ability show their iPhone leaving KY yet? I wonder when they will start moving them to the remote parts of the US in time to load them onto trucks early Friday morning?

they wont start moving them out until tmrw morning. they will catch flights to their destinations to be delivered friday end of day.

I wish someone could just be honest...I had a friend who ordered through the store at 3 a.m. EST and his date was just moved back to mine, and I ordered at 430 EST....what is going on?

would just like realistic date since I won't die if I don't have it in hand by Friday, but 2 weeks plus for a pre-order when others are going to get theirs this friday when they didn't wake up early?

The disappointing part is that I now read that Apple will not allow UPS to deliver until Friday 9/21. This means those in the store will receive their phone prior to those of us who were up and ordered at release time.

I ordered mine at 3:15 a.m. EST and it still shows a delivery date of 9/21. But the nights not over...
