I pre-ordered iPhone 5 32 GB black CDMA version, at about 7 central time this morning, and website says it will be delivered on October 5. If this is true, I am extrememly unhappy. Could it arrive sooner than that time?

I placed my order within the 1st hour of pre-order as well, and was given an Oct 5th delivery date. Apple still shows "Preparing for Shipment", but when I searched UPS by my phone number, they show my package shipped on Friday the 21st, and left Hong Kong on 23rd local time. So looks like my iPhone 5 Black 32GB (GSM) will be delivering this week! Very happy to see that as I stayed up to pre-order! Here is the screen shot from UPS:

The only options I see for SMS statuses on UPS site are for Day Before Delivery oy Morning of Delivery.
Mine still says processing with expected delivery of Oct. 5. They had it coded I found out as a business order. They were going about correcting it and I was told I would be getting it sooner than Oct. 5. Who knows though. I just hope it does not come with any problems. Congrats to everyone whose orders have started moving.🙂
