I pre-ordered iPhone 5 32 GB black CDMA version, at about 7 central time this morning, and website says it will be delivered on October 5. If this is true, I am extrememly unhappy. Could it arrive sooner than that time?

Thanks for the info. But I don't need the iPhone THAT bad to go through so much hassle. I'm not "jonesin" for it. I'll just be patient and wait now, and be happy to get it any time next week.
If you already paid for the contract price, you can't just walk into an Apple store and pick up another. As for me tracking it, I think it is super interesting to see how global transit works and before now, never had a reason to see it all.
Side note, you're obviously interested enough to sort through 17 pages of responses...if you are so patient, why not just wait for the email update?

I'm one of the "lucky" ones to recieve my iPhone on the 21st. Now if you all have heard about the scuffing problem, I got one of those iPhones. Unfortunately 😟
Anyway, called Apple, and I'll just get to the point: I'm having a brand new one (factory sealed, in original packaging) sent to me on Monday and will arrive by Wednesday. It's coming from Apple in CA.
Just found it interesting that I didn't need to wait 3 weeks for a replacement. The supervisor said they had a bunch over at Apple CA.
My delivery day was oct 9. Got an email saying its shipped. New delivery date. Sept 28 :D
Mine is coming on the 28th too. It just left China. Urgh!

I pre-ordered my phone first thing on the 14th with Bell. I haven't received my phone yet and they can't give me a delivery date.
I paid a reservation fee. I'm thinking I bail on this nonsense!!

I was in the 10/5 original expected delivery date group.I ordered around 12 hours in.
Mine was updated to shipped on Saturday and the tracking info is as above, it left China late Saturday night. The estimated delivery date seems to be 9/28 now but based on how quickly the other units moved from China to delivered...they move from China to South Korea in less than a day and then move to Alaska within the day. They go out multiple times a day on UPS plane UPS61 from Alaska to Louisville, KY to the World Hub for UPS. You can track that plane at http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS61/history/20120917/2248Z/PANC/KSDF and see when it's shuttling between the two airports. I would guess I'll have my phone by Monday or Tuesday but here's what I have.
