I pre-ordered iPhone 5 32 GB black CDMA version, at about 7 central time this morning, and website says it will be delivered on October 5. If this is true, I am extrememly unhappy. Could it arrive sooner than that time?

You are absolutely right. Jjallison is talking crap. With the iphone once you click reply, a window opens up where you just type what you want to say. Hes a phony. Hes just typing it in. Hes probably one od those guys that paid 1500 for an iphone and is hating on everyone because they paid retail and he didnt.

I don't understand, I pre-ordered the phone on the 14th. Everytime I've pre-ordered something in the past it meant I was Guaranteed the item when it was released. What the heck is the point of pre-ordering if that fact is not true?! In the past I've pre-ordered car, movies and video games for my kids and I got all those items as soon as they were released. Now I'm told middle of October, really? When other people who did not commit strolled into a store and got one, really?! They know how many units they had available, they should have stop taking pre-orders when they reached their limit. This is now showing up on major news, along with $29 adapter issue, embarrassing. At this point anyone still waiting should get a free adapter for the inconvenience. My lesson, I will NEVER pre-order from Apple again. And the Samsung S3 is starting to look better and cheaper!
