iPhone 5 Pre-Order Delivery Date

I'm with you guys JoshHProx and CoasterFanFL. It's a bit discouraging to hear about how everyone else is making progress, yet we're still waiting (along with many others). I think people are getting excited, and they can't wait to share with everyone how they beat the odds of fate. Unfortunatley, this feels like a cold blow to those that really did make every effort possible to be just as successful.

If I had know that staying up all hours of the night while clicking the refresh page frantically was going to get me nothing but an October delivery date, there's a good chance I would have passed. If I had known that the mobile website went live an hour earlier before the regular one, maybe I would have been in better shape.

If all else fails, at least we can find comfort in knowing that our phones weren't the first out the door, so maybe the problems that the inital ones have won't exist on ours (things like unset glue, backwards buttons, flaws in workmanship).

Are you guys going to ask complete strangers you see on the street next week to keep their iPhone 5's hidden and not use them in your presence so you don't have to be reminded you didn't get yours yet?

Pu-lease! There is a thread for every release where people post their delivery progress for others seeking information on their own shipments. Don't friggin' read it if it bothers you so much. Don't ask us to censor ourselves. PARTICULARLY when YOU started the thread! Let us post in peace.

And in 2 weeks when you discuss your own delivery details, you can tell people reading this thread who haven't ordered yet to shut up when THEY complain about YOU.

I'm in the same boat Josh. But really, if you had been fortunate enough to get the original delivery date, you'd be excited too. And we all know us techies like to be first. Wasn't meant to be this time for us. Oh well, time to let it go. Doesn't mean I'm still not happy about it, but what can we do?

I have a September 28th delivery date, which I think suits me because my birthday is a day before, but seriously, to everyone angry at others for their fotrune, they are just excited! Its not like they had a more special service than you, and the day that UPS truck delivers your phone, you'll be thinking, "wow, I'm one of the first people to have this phone", just remeber that your getting the phone. some people arent even getting one Josh.🙂

im not trying to do anything, the message is YOU ARE GETTING AN IPHONE 5, BE HAPPY! whenever it comes it comes, just accept it, dont worry over what cant be changed, and who knows, it might come earlier🙂
