16GB iPhone 5 or 32GB iPhone5!

Hello,

I still cant decide wether to get a 16gb or a 32gb iPhone5, I like to play games and get apps, I also take a fair amount of pictures, music isnt an issue because I only have around 100. I might put some movies in the Phone!

What do you guys think I should get?

Pictures, movies, and Apps can REALLY add up. I would definitely recommend the 32GB. You will be sorry if you don't.

I would recommend getting the 32GB, you will be happy with it. One of the many reasons I chose to upgrade to the iPhone 5 was that I had literally no room left, and I currently have a 16GB iPhone 4. Sometimes I even open up the camera app and it won't let me take a photo. Now, granted, I have a lot of songs. I have 2,168 songs that make up for 11.6 GB of my storage space. My iPhone is full currently and I've had to delete many precious apps and photos.

My recommendation: Go for the 32GB. It is going to be so nice being able to use the iPhone how it was meant to be used. You will be able to snap many pictures whenever you want and take/keep videos and many apps. Then again, you do have less music. Even still I am very excited to be getting the 32 GB. After all, apps and movies usually take up more space than the music

I got a 32gb 4s when I went to sprint, I have about 350 photos at this time on my phone, over 300 phones and quite a few apps. I also have a lot of documents I have saved on it. I still have 24gb available out of the 28 on the phone. It is true that with a 32gb you will never have to worry about filling it up, however, my personal opinion only, is that a 16gb is plenty. I had all of the above stuff and 4 movies on my old 16gb and it wasn't quite full.

The only advantage of the 32gb is a little piece of mind that you have enough space, so you have to decide if you want to spend the extra $100.

Well I wont spend and extra $100 on an empty space that I may not use on the 32g, I would rather get a good protecting cover for such an expensive phone.

I have an Ipad so I would prefer watching all my movies over there, bigger screen and way ore comfortable to watch on.
I have my songs on my mini ipod that I love listening to while doing sports, however, my iphone 16g is able to handle most.

Regarding the photos, I chose the best of what I took on my iphone and upload them on an unlimited memory of my facebook account, however and still the 16g can handle that.

This is like my daughter, she has thousands of pictures on her phone and i can't figure out why; she has her own macbook pro to upload them to. She says she's gonna look at them and i'm like all 2000? (not saying you shouldn't have them parkerjg13) just don't understand the need for all of them on your phone.

I'm a bit late but just getting my iPhone 5 next week and I have the same problem I've gotten by fine on my 4s on 16gb although sometimes I wish I could fit some more tv programmes on my phone as I travel and with all my apps can only fit about 6 episodes on but I can't justify a 100 pound increase when you only have the phone for a year. What did you choose ?

Hi Steve,

Maybe she doesnt want to import them into iPhoto... here is a cool trick to show her... connect the iphone to her macbook pro, then use spotlight and search "image capture" (app that comes preinstalled on macs)... Open the app and then she can import any and all videos and pictures on her iphone onto her mac without using iphoto. She can also designate what folder she wants to import her pictures and videos.

Here is a video showing this cool feature,
