FINALLY!!!

Well, it took three hours and a bottle of wine, but I finally managed to get video chat to work. I am not sure what the fix was, but doing the DMZ thing on my router may have been the ticket. The other end of the chat is in the UK, while I am in Seattle so the coordination was a little difficult.

If someone from Apple happens to stumble on this post, a bit more research into the configuration would be greatly appreciated.

Also, a follow up question to the iChat guru's. I am currently running Panther, and I plan to upgrade to Tiger. Will I suffer any issues with the upgrade?
