My iMac won't connect to Youtube via wifi. Ethernet is ok.

For reasons I cannot discover, I cannot open Youtube.com via wifi on my iMac. It will open when ethernet is connected. This is the only site that seems to be affected. It stalls for a second or two, then I get a blank screen and the URL changes to www.youtube.com/?tab=w1. I read through every forum I can find, tinkered with the network settings, deleted cache files for the browsers, etc. Firefox, Safari and Chrome all do the same thing. It was working fine for awhile and I don't believe that we changed anything that caused this, so I am at a loss. Has anyone else had this issue and know how to solve it?

Safari and Chrome has this version (I deleted Firefox): 11.4.402.265

Here's another one for you. My daughter found a way around the issue by clicking on a direct link to a Youtube video. It works fine and she can surf around in there without a problem. It is apparently the homepage that will not work. At this point, I'm ok with that and will consider the case solved "enough". This remains a mystery to me, but I this it's time that we all moved on with our lives. I really appreciate the effort and the time you've taken. Thank you.

It says that the page https://youtube.com/lohp doesn't exist. I am trying to load www.youtube.com. I have no problem with other secure sites. On the iMac I have Line 6 Pod Farm software and just the standard Apple software, but everything worked fine until Mountain Lion so the conflict must be due to that. Perhaps a future update will solve the problem. Until then we'll just use the work-around with the direct link to a video which seems to be working fine. Thanks again.
