cannoy update my iphone ver 5.1 ?
for some reason when i try to update my iphone 4s it says (unable to ckeck for update an error occurred while chcking for a sofware update )
any help ?

Are you trying to update from the phone itself or from iTunes? If from the handset, check your wi-fi connection (this cannot be done over the 3G network). If from iTunes, check and disable any firewall or security software on your computer that could be blocking the connection between iTunes and the server. Do you see a number at the end of the text in the error message?
