Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi,
I would like to ask somebody for a small help.
I just bought Apple audio cable and try to connect my iPod classic or iPad 2 to the more types of TVs but always only voice was working. I could not see anything just listen.
Can somebody give me an advice how to manage it the right way to be able to see also the films a have in my iPod on the television?

Is there any way you could try it on another TV to determine if it's an issue with the TV and not your iPod or the connecting cable?
And you are sure the Input on the TV is changed to the correct Input?
Has this iPod ever been able to successfully play videos through this TV before?

This iPod was never playing video successfully on any other TV. And I tried it on more then 5 TVs. I was also in the apple store, they tried it on theit TV in the shop and nothing :-(
They recommended me to contact their profesional service. I have't done it yet :-/

That points to an issue with your device then. You'll likely need to have it serviced or replaced.

I'm writing just to let you know that I was in the servise and they discovered that the cable was wrong. Because it was bought in their shop they gave me a new one :-)
