i didn't know that you use Illustrator for Screen based graphics / tv graphics - not

I don't use Illustratror for anything. I'm not a graphic designer. Nor am I upset. However, if you don't understand the subject which you are attempting to argue, you are going to get shot down. Don't get all upset.

(Graphic Designers leaned more towards Illustrator and still do)
So all Graphic Designers use Illustrator when they are doing layouts as opposed to using InDesign
or doing Screen graphics as opposed to using Photoshop???
Apple gangs
Graphic designers, like the rest of humanity are a diverse group. I doubt that "all" graphic designers use any on bit of software any more than "all " writers use Microsoft Word.If they are any good at what they are doing, they try to use the tool that lets them get their work done in the most effective way. Of course, they may also need to use the tool that's available. And, if they're not good at their jobs, who cares what they use.
Yes, they do. And they use many other tools depending on what discipline they are in. I just went to the Senior Design Arts show at the University of Texas at Arlington last Friday and mingled with the designers two of which I personally knew (unfortuneatly one won an award the other didn't...but that is another story). More than half of the featured projects used Illustrator. The web-based projects used pure HTML coding. None used Flash. None.
They prefer (and so do I) vector graphics because of scaling issues. Photoshop is more often used with Photos and not original design. I also used Fireworks in the past as well as Corel Draw and Paint.
You said earlier that you do not have any iDevices so what problem do you actually have?

If there were a "biting my tongue" emoticon, I'd be using it right now.
Thought about it right after I wrote it. I've been stepping into things like this lately.
Look son for screen graphics use rastor tools like
Adobe Photoshop
for Print use
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Does that make it easier for you?
I thought it was quite amusing.
I call it Apple loitering
No, and it is incorrect. But just so you know, there is still a lot of work that reguires "print" in Graphics Design, much more than TV. And InDesign is not required at all. Get it?
And how many years of experience do you have working in Graphics Design at 14 years of age?
Why do you call it Graphics Design
It's called Graphic Design
I'm sorry to inform you but Print has become redundant.
Go check out David Carson's End of Print
or more for you, Time magazine.
Don't take this personally but don't call you call someone childish for having a different opinion, name calling etc, try to understand what the thread is about etc
Your attitude will take you far in the real world.
Please read the Terms of Use for the forum:
"You must be at least 13 years old to post to the Site. If you are over 13 years old but have not yet reached the age of majority, you must have your parent or guardian's permissions to post to the Site."
You say tomato, I say to...never mind to old for you.
I don't care what you call it.
And I'm sorry to inform you but you are incorrect and you need to widen your views of what print means. There are designs, logos, etc. on many, many things including coasters, napkins, glasses, computers, signs, etc., etc. These things are not going away. But regardless you can use Illustrator and other vector graphics tools to design for TV, computer screens, etc.
I didn't call you childish, I said you were immature. And I said you are about 14 years of age. So how far off am I? Are you really 15? Or 13?
And I understand what the thread is about. If you actually have an iDevice there are alternate browsers that will let access some Flash material such as Puffin, etc. They are in the app store. If you don't have an iDevice and want an tablet to access Flash with some level of security and a good, stable image look at the Surface Pro. But hurry on the other devices, as they update Flash may no longer be available.
Yes we are. And proud of it.
Philly_Phan and I are very competitive so which one of use has it right? Are you less than 13 or are you 14 as I thought? If you don't tell us a fight is likely to break out.
