The truth is not slanderous, if you think it is please sue me, (like you have threatened to do before) you chose to post falsehoods, you got caught, get over it.

And now that the flimflam is over.

It is time to remind users that Intuit have a long history of poor support for Macs, during the 6 years that they failed to update Quicken 2007 for current Macs most other vendors, even of significantly more complex software did update them (Microsoft Office for example) while Intuit relied for a while on a 3rd party emulator provided to them by Apple, and when that went away they chose to abandon users of new Macs entirely.

Support?

Can y'all take this to another post. This is my first Mac and I am really looking for information. I am sorry this whole thing got started but if y'all could open another topic where the two of you can duke it out, that would be great. I was really wanting to learn and y'all both have some really good points but it is to hard to read through all the name calling fights. I can go find that on FB. Thank you in advance for moving this fight to another post.

Thank you so much! After all these years on Windows I am going to the Mac because of the great customer service I have received from my iPhone and iPad. I really need help with information on Accounting Systems. I have used Quicken since the beginning of time and have lately been using Quicken Home and Business for our small home business. I have looked at the Quicken 2016 for Mac and don't think it will work. Trying Quickbooks Online and it's not really great for what we need. Tried iBank and it is either business or home, can't combine. Xero is ok but it is way to expensive for our small business. Any suggestions? I have to get this straight before the beginning of next year. Will start 2016 on the Mac.

Thanks again....maybe I should just start a new post. My email has been blowing up with all this arguing and it takes too long to try and weed out the name calling fight posts.

I owe you an apology from some of my posts yesterday since perhaps you would have been ahead of the info curve without the interruptions. Rarely do I particpate in the Apple Discussion Forums and like you, I was looking for an alternative to iBanks for my small business. Having been a Mac user for over 30 years, I can tell you that Intuit disappointed a portion of its loyal customer base several years ago and the technical reasons "why" is not a discussion that I really wanted to enter into nor do I necessarily care. My point was, that Intuit was not very responsible or fair to Mac users and it would be difficlut for me to go back to them. Having said that, their PowerPC product (prior to the introduction of the Intel processors) was very solid and reliable and I miss it.

Again, please accept my apologies.

Wow! Thanks for taking the high road! Apologies accepted. I am so new to Mac and trying to sort some things out. Having been a Quicken user for so long, I was very disappointed with the Quicken 2016 for Mac hence my attempt to find something comparable. There are many other questions I will probably have but this is top on my list! I will keep looking and trying.

Thanks again!!

I really liked Easy Books but the importing data was a little tedious. My husband uses his credit card all day. I couldn't get the csv to download. I don't like that it won't update transaction very easy. I haven't bought the add ons yet. Do you know if that is different when buying an add-on? I may have to try QB for Mac. That is my last resort as I was trying to get away from intuit. Not real happy with some of the things they do. I work on QB Enterprise Solutions at work on a windows computer and don't care of some of their tactics. But I may have to go there!
