I know it's only 3 days left till the release but I'm restless (as everyone is I'm sure).
Apple says that my order is 'Preparing for shipment' but I heard that people could track their orders through UPS. I tried it, but it didn't work, probably because I live in UK.
Is there any other way for me to track it?

Well the UPS thingy doesn't seem to work for anyone outside of US cos their UPS is like our Royal Mail I guess. I couldnt find any other way to track the delivery.
And I was told that Apple will change the status to 'shipped' one day before delivery, so probably Thursday. Guess we'll have to wait for that
Mines just changed to shipped, says it was shipped on the 15th and it will be delivered on the 21st 🙂

I know tell me about it, i have tried every courier i can think of... I was going to go to the local depot and see if they would let me pick it up but cant find out whose got it 😟
On the Apple website it says that SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY is the carrier that they are using. I tried going on their website but its impossible to access, it loads the webste one time out of a hundred attempts 😟
Mine says shipped as well.. But it is mentioned in the order details that it is shipped on UPS :)
Though I can't track it neither :(
I too have been given tracking information for UPS UK but when inputing it to the UPS web site i get errors, the number is not in the correct format.
It seems rather pointless for apple to issue tracking info an numbers to customers when none of it works.

ask for billing
give them your details and they should give u the real shipment number which starts with 1z
then open google (yes google) and search for that number where it will display the ups link for it.. and hopefully u get more information by clicking the link if it is really uploaded there..
Finally was able to get tracking through the Sycnreon Parcel Delivery (that's the courier that is being used for me).
They wanted 2 numbers, first is the Order No/Delivery (that is the tracking number), and second is the Web order (that is your PO number, the one you get in the purchase confirmation letter).
it says that my item is currently in Hinckley (that's 140 miles from my house) and it registered today in the morning for 'Shipment Pickup, Normal Status'.
Guess ill be getting it tomorrow after all
cheers for that, got the number and although it has not updated yet it does indicate my address for delivery so hopefully more info will become available later.
