How do i manage to retrieve or reset security questions if i cant remember the answers?

Hy there I had the same issue: when buying books or music from the itunes store i am requested to answer to 2 security questions. Unfortunately i do not remember any correct answers so my account always gets blocked for 8 hours a d cannot buy anything! The phone support of apple is useless since in order to resolve the problem i need at least one right correct answer to the questions. Apple told me that there is no solution to my prob. I received some itunes gifts at Christmas and cannot do anything out of it...very frustrating!

Apple, get it together. why all the trouble to change security questions. a simple email reset would be appropriate. why is this so difficult to do. i personally know 3 people who have this problem and are completely frustrated with itunes and how hard it is to do simple things.

Thank you for your help I followed the steps, sadly I don't get the option for the alternate mail despite is verified already, but I managed to send a mail asking for help to support team so for that I'm grateful so thank you again.

The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account, an alternate email address is different.

When you've got the questions reset you can add a rescue email address to your account (in case you need it in the future) by answering the 2 questions on the Password And Security part of your account on http://appleid.apple.com i.e. by following steps 1 to 7 half-way down this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

Sadly there's no support for my country in the list.... will have to wait for an asnwer from the apple support team, since I even have 2 verified mails as alternate mails on my account and yet I dont get that option for the security answers. so im kinda screwd. ty for your help tho
