Unable To Update Dolphin Browser
[iPad WiFi only 64Gb]
Hello All!!!
My App Store icon on the iPad shows a number "1" indicating that there is one update that needs to be downloaded. This update is for Dolphin Browser.
When I go to the App Store Updates section I see Dolphin Browser listed as needing to be updated. I click on the "Update All" (I have also tried the "UPDATE" buttton), the screen returns back to my iPad home screen, but nothing happens. The icon for Dolphin Browser show the status as 0% and the status bar never increases beyond 0. After waiting about 2 minutes I decided to click on the Dolphin Browser icon. When I do it gives me the following message:
Unable to Download Application "Dolphin Browser for iPad could not be downloaded at this time.
There are two buttons, Done and Retry on the message dialog. When I click Retry I get the same message about 5 seconds later. When I click Done it just closes the message dialog and nothing happens. The Dolphin Browser icon, however, still has the 0% status bar and it's greyed out a bit indicating it's not usable.
Repeat... repeat... repeat... same results.
Could it be that there is something wrong with the Dolphin Browser update server? Or do all updates come from a server controlled by Apple?
Would it be safe to delete the icon (uninstall the application) and re-install?
Thank you!
M đ
P.S. I am connected to my home WiFi network and I have verified that I have internet connectivity so I know that's not the problem.
