How do I sync iPhone 5 with Mac G5 OS 10.5.8?

The Mac sync requirements for the new iPhone 5 list the minimum system requirements as OS 10.6.8 or later with iTunes 10.7. My G5 can only go as high as OS 10.5.8., with iTunes 10.6.3.

Also, iCloud syncing requires (I believe) the same minimum requirements.

QUESTION: Is there a work-around? How can I get the content from my iTunes on my Mac G5 onto the new iPhone 5 with iOS6? I have the new iPhone 5 on order and would really like use it with my current iTunes account and sync it with my data.

NOTE: I am able to sync my iPad 2 just fine with my G5 via my iTunes. I also have wi-fi.

(F.Y.I. This was on an iBook G4 running Leopard.) I downloaded a trial version of PhoneView (I'm sorry, but I don't remember the version number - this was back in December.) Since PhoneView only allows you to "view" or backup the contents of your iPhone, I searched for an app to use as a gateway for saving files, specifically music, & I found iDownloader.

The process is basically the same as saving files to an app in iTunes: Connect your iPhone, open PhoneView, select iDownloader in the Apps section, & save the files in this location. PhoneView gives you the ability to make folders & iDownloader will list them in this manner. Once you're finished, update the media library in the settings section of iDownloader on your phone & all of your files/folders should be listed.

As far as I can read it, Akanthos is right on target to this tread in asking how to sync an iPhone with OS 10.5 using PhoneView and iDownloader. As someone else recently noted, the more "points" and "levels" the more arrogant the writer is. I'm just sick of reading all the wise *** remarks that don't help the questioner and instead just points them in another direction. And in this case, the question from Akanthos IS DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THIS THREAD. And now I'm sure Mr. Eckert will tell me that my comments here are not connected to this thread also.
