Am I the only one having ios 6 ipad 3 wi-fi issues

after my update to ios 6 I tried to set up the ipad and it was unable to join the network....so since then I have reset the network settings, NO SOLUTION!... tried messing with my wireless router settings and switching different channels NO SOLUTION!! , and also reinstalled ios 6 to see if that was the issue....NO RESOLVE!

I have come to terms with the fact that my ipad was fine and connected easily before ios 6 with ios 5, so its not my router or wifi settings.....and my ipod touch 4g was updated to ios 6 as well and it connects absolutely fine to my wifi now.....SO SO FAR I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE UPDATE!

Same issue. Oddly, it allows me to connect to apple.com thru the settings wifi pop up. My iPad is wifi only, so I'm CLEARLY connected to the Internet. Translation- Apple just exposed that their devices are forced thru apple.com first and although I'm not about to be concerned with privacy conspiracies, that won't stop the madness.

BTW, I'm typing this on the same iPad that refuses to connect :-)

PLease fix soon, Apple. I'm forced to run everything thru 3G on my phone right now and I'm ******.

Yes, I am having the same issue with my iPhone 4S and iPad 2. They worked shortly after upgrading to IOS 6, but stopped working sometime this afternoon. It acts like it is going to pull up a site to allow me to log on to the wireless (which isn't necessary for the networks I am connecting to), but goes to www.apple.com with an error about the site.

I am going to try what justicj suggested and try blocking http://www.apple.com in parental controls to see if that helps.

Shot in the dark here, but could this be related to the new FaceTime features?

Reason I ask is because my wifi dropped just as I got a "Your phone number has now been associated with FaceTime" alert.

Wifi was working fine on iPad 3. I updated my iPhone 4 and wifi dropped.

Getting same "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found" error.

Using Netgear WNR3500 router with WEP.

EDIT: iloveuru's fix worked for my phone and ipad:

FIX:

Settings > Wi-Fi > (Network...) > "Blue Circle Arrow"

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and set:

HTTP Proxy to Auto

Same problem,

Wife's iPhone 4 not connecting - goes to apple login page...

BT Home hub

My ipad3 and iPhone 4S connecting perfectly.

"Having the same problem

I have the standard 2WIRE wireless router from U-Verse and my iPad 3 can connect to the wifi no problem.

When I enter the password into my iPhone 4, it connects for a brief second then redirects me to an apple.com "Log In" page that reads

"Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found"

What a disaster." - agree
