IOS 6 keeps going to an apple log-in screen every time I try to access my home wifi.

Solved ....

I was facing the same problem when connecting to Wi-Fi, redirecting to apple website..

And this is what i performed and was able to resolve.

1. Go to your Wi-Fi and perform "Forget this network"

2. Go to Settings -> Safari and clear history.

3 Restart you phone, make sure when phone is restarting it is disconnected from iTunes and not connected to computer.

4. Connect wi-fi

The only solution i've found is disconnecting cellular data in Settings>General>Cellular.

give it some time...I removed the previous network and rebooted..still didn't work and after about 30 minutes it started working out of the blue..good luck!

Also worked fine with me.

Bluetooth off and it worked.

But when i did the update to ios6 i was at a friend of mine and his wifi worked with my iphone

just my wifi at home did not work

Doing a "Reset Network Settings" fixed the problem for me.

(I'm on an iPhone 4)

same here... it's fixed for now at least... didn't do anything out of the ordinary (turn off/on router and iphone's wifi)

I've come to expect Apple to be better than this. Must try harder!

Here's a fix that worked for me:

- Go to Settings /General / Celular and turn off Celular data, and turn off Enable 3G.

- Go back to WIFI and it should work fine!

- Go to Settings /General / Celular and turn on Celular data, and turn on Enable 3G.

iphone 4 here. Connected to iTunes via cable to my computer (was going to do a restore). Then the WiFi registered. I simply cancelled the software download inprogress.

Same thing here. But,... now it seams to be working fine. Did not change anything. Just kept trying to connect every now and again and then it just stopped trying to go to that Apple log in screen and connected.

Hi guys this just worked for me, hopefully it will for you guys to.

i went to settings, clicked the blue arrow next to my home network, then selected forget network.

I got full connection straight away.

I was able to fix this on my iPhone 4. Go into Network settings, tap the blue circle next to the WiFi network you want to join, then make sure HTTP Proxy for that network is set to "Auto." For some reason mine was set to "off" after the upgrade. Working fine now.

Just fixed mine

go to safari settings and switch off use cellular data

choose wifi as usual, you should keep your signal

return to safari settings and switch use cellular data back on

everything should work
